Events – Ford TH!NK

Ford TH!NK Electric car launch
Way ahead of the curve Ford Motor Company launched its first all-electric car in September 2001. Our role as a relatively new agency was to work alongside Ford's governmental affairs department to arrange and implement the entire event.
With the venue already arrange we had to liaise with 12 of the TH!NK cars sponsors including John Lewis, Sainsbury's, RAC, Future Forests, Paul Smith, Fortnum & Mason and design bespoke vehicle wraps for each car. Once approved each of the twelve cars plus Fords own LOnondon AtoZ car had to be wrapped in time for the launch.
As well as the vehicles themselves 12 free-standing information totems had to be designed and fabricated to showcase the company and its pledge for a greener London inline with the ford motor companies "Think @bout London" initiative.
The event was a resounding success with a number of dignitaries from the UK's largest companies as well as the Lord Mayor of London Ken Livingstone
