Some of the things I wish people had told me along the way
Over the years I have learned that one of the most important things in branding and marketing is to ask for and listen to as much advice as possible. Second to this is to read as much as humanly possible which can prove difficult these days as our lives are so busy. However, about 3 years ago I registered with Audible which, if you havent heard of it, is a seller and producer of spoken audio entertainment, that allows you to download audible books is as many subject matters as you can shake a stick at.
Obviously there is a monthly subscription for this $14.95 per month which allows you to choose from over 200,00 books, in addition to this ther are thousnads of podcasts and programs to choose from.
I have listened to dozens of books relating to branding and marketing
and have selected a few gems which I have detailed below.
I have added the title and authour and a very brief overview of the book along with my opinion so if you are looking for some inspiration check them out. If you only use one or two ideas from a handful of books it will have a really positive effect on different ways to run a business or in some instance your attitude as abusiness owner.
This is no way an advert for the books – I do not receive a referal fee they a merely my opinions that I would like to share with like minded individuals wishing to gain some inspiraton on the best rout forward on a subject which many find daunting.
After all, Any help is good help and the worst thing to do, is do nothing!

This is an interesting book. Seth Godin’s writing style is easy to read and he presents ideas that we knew but never really dwelt upon. Filled with examples, the book shows how to stand out in your business and become remarkable.
